Kick It Out: Mentor & Leadership Project

Kick It Out, football’s equalities and inclusion campaign, enters the second phase of the Mentor and Leadership Project this summer.

More on this article...

Are you excited about the prospect of working in football?  Can you make a difference to the game away from the pitch? Do you feel you have the skill set to make an impact in the industry but unsure where to start?

Kick It Out, football's equality and inclusion campaign, wants to hear from you this summer.  It's Mentoring & Leadership Project is aiming to uncover football's next generation of administrators whilst addressing the under representation of diverse communities working in all areas of the game.

Led by former England, Aston Villa and Everton player, Earl Barrett, the project is run in partnership with the Equality & Human Rights Commission.  Development sessions are now taking place where you can expect to get advice on forging a career in coaching, refereeing, community development, administration and media.

The sessions will take place in conjunction with Sport Structures to develop a series of workshops and personal development plans for those involved.

There are several venues nationwide please note the revised dates:
Sheffield, 12th July
Bristol, 14th July
Manchester, 19th July
Newcastle, 21st July - Download Flyer

These are a free events and there will be refreshments on arrival.

To book your free place and for further information please contact Richard Bates at Kick It Out on: richard@kickitout.org or call 0207 684 4884.
